I am fully aware of what these ship actually do, as we have to design them for these actions in mind. Why dont you see that these actions do not require ships that costs billions of pounds. The weapon systems on these ships are unbelievable complex and are meant for much more extreme cases, they will never be used. Im not ignorant, you dont scrutinize your governments spending enough.
