| Comment | To everyone who’s saying go to a dealers....... most wont sell cars that cheap, and if they do I’d be wary because they will have picked them up for absolute peanuts to make it worth their while to sell them on for <£1200.
Yes you do have more rights when you buy from a dealer but those rights are still pretty limited in the sense that if anything goes wrong with the car you would need to PROVE that the dealer knowing sold the car with that fault. This could be tricky if anything goes wrong. Especially with such a cheap (so old) car.
IMO with that budget you’re going to get the best deal privately BUT as already mentioned a few times you MUST take someone with you that knows about cars so you don’t buy a lemon. |
