| Comment | If you plan on taking the offer, I'd really recommend having a look around for somewhere to live that *isn't* in a "student flat" type situation. They're extremely expensive for what you get, often poorly maintained and just... Well, not very Glaswegian, if immersing yourself in Scottish culture is something you feel you'd also like to get out of your time here.
Check on Gumtree.com for rentals, perhaps find something short term for when you arrive - or stay at a hostel - while you find a flatshare with other students in a nice tenement somewhere or something? It will work out MUCH cheaper for you that way, most likely!
