| Comment | 1. Absolutely. One of the top in the UK, and world renowned. (Also older than many countries in fact!)
2. Also yes. There are a lot of great things to do in the city. Having 3 universities has meant it's a pretty decent place for students.
3. Glasgow is probably one of the cheaper cities in the UK to live in, however the west end where UofG is can be a little more expensive for accommodation. Places a little further out like Partick/Broomhill/Maryhill are cheaper and still walking distance to the university.
4. We get a good reputation for being friendly! The vast majority of us just want to share our great city with people and make sure outsiders feel welcome.
5. Should be easy enough if you're English is decent and you're flexible in what you're prepared to do.
