I've gotten into birdwatching! There's a free app called BirdID- Nord University that you can use to identify birds and quiz yourself on species, and there's another app called BirdTrack you can use to track them and put your records into a UK-wide database. Every little helps, and even if you're in an urban area you'd be surprised as to how many species there are!
