> Glasgow used have a lot more Victorian arcades. The most recent loss was Virginia Arcade in the 90s due to structural instability.

The Virginia Galleries had actually been a Tobacco Exchange originally. However, Glasgow at one time had many traditional shopping arcades such as Crown Arcade, Queen Arcade, Wellington Arcade , Campbell Arcade, Union Arcade, London Street Arcade, Royal Arcade, etc.

This was the Queen Arcade off Renfrew Street: https://www.theglasgowstory.com/image/?inum=TGSA00973
