There is a really great Hostel on Park Terrace in the West End. You can see Glasgow Uni from up there, it's super close. It might be worth your while to find out whether you can stay there for a couple of weeks while you find yourself a flatshare here once you arrive? It's walking distance to literally everything you'd be coming here for!
