The drive out to Livingston is worth it imo because you have all the shops you could possibly need, plus a designer outlet next door where I've got a few good deals in my time.
Worst shopping centre in the Greater Glasgow area without a doubt though has to be the Paisley Centre. It doesn't even have any actual shops in it anymore. Just full of cheap tat shops.
