| Comment | I bought a ground floor flat years ago and the previous owner had paid 8 grand for a damp proof course for rising damp. The problem turned out to be the guttering needing replaced, water pouring down the outside of the building and penetrating from that and the pools that formed outside. Sorry, don't have anything constructive to say, just reinforcing your concerns! |
