To be honest, Glasgow isn't a city known for its skyline, it's more a marvel to see up close in the city centre when you remember to look up. All you can pick out from afar is that pink "People Make Glasgow" building near George Square.

I'd agree with others that Queen's Park at the flagpole gives a great and accessible viewpoint over the city.

I've seen Glasgow from the Cathkin Braes, Kilpatrick Hills and Campsies, you can't make that much out and there is usually a haze over the city to stop you from doing so.

Go to Queen's Park then get some food on Victoria Road. It'll be magic.
