The highest point in Glasgow is “queen Mary’s seat,” in the Cathrin braes. They say it’s where Mary queen of Scot’s watched the battle of langside from. Great views.

There’s a few places north of the city you get a great view looking south, like st Joseph’s view, but it’s kindof nestled in amongst housing estates with nowhere good to have a picnic for example.
