It is expensive to run a festival, and I don’t know how the finances are at EF and co but the cost of hiring all the stuff is enormous. Paying bands, paying djs, crew, bar staff, all the hire fees, it all adds up to a massive bill. If they need to move it for a year so that they can do next year then so what ?
It’s a private industry in the end, vote with your wallet but I’d rather have PCL putting on a festival than DF. If you want to camp go and camp. |
