Id agree with you more or less but unfortunately the way things are with no barrier between you and a car means you’re likely to eventually get splatted.
Millions of cars crash in to each other every day and they’re hard to miss. Bikes are easy to miss and a lot of drivers are fannying about on their phones nowadays.
Would be great if this wasn’t the case but it is. Even bicycle only lanes aren’t respected by cars |
