Comment | CAB have their own (massive) info database which volunteers are trained to use. If they can't get the info you need they will refer you to a specialist advice provider (Shelter for housing info etc).
You can get access to most of that through the CAB website.
I volunteered with them for a year or so - most of the advisers are volunteers, but they have access to paid supervisors if they get stuck though.
A lot of the work is actually sign-posting to specialists so maybe better thinking of CAB as a starting point. |
