I will arrange bloods for patients just wanting a check up. It can help do a CVD risk score. High BP is a silent killer.

I don't tend to bring them in for BMI and waist circumference and I don't arrange an ECG as routine.
Medichecks and thriva are decent. Some bloods like kidneys cannot be done by fingerprick testing so you pay for a phlebotomist (I bleed myself).

There are more advanced tests medichecks will do like Apo-B and Lp(a) endorsed by the European cardiology society as better indicators for CVD prediction. Pertinent as such a big killer. The caveat is finding someone to interpret these.

Like others have said BUPA and nuffield will be adequate for most but don't use some of the latest and advance markers but these may not always influence what you end up doing. London is where its at and other big cities down south. They even do CAC scans.
