“Building Standards and Public Safety may contact owners of derelict buildings that do not appear to be subject to routine maintenance. Owners will be advised that they should instigate a system of routine periodic inspections of the property by competent persons; this should identify any works that may be required to prevent the property falling into a dangerous condition.
If you know of a building in a derelict condition, please report it to us and the matter will be investigated.”
