Maybe I’m wrong, but everyone deserves empathy, up until a certain point.
However, I do only have so much patience. I don’t think it’s a black and white issue.
There are certainly worse groups of people, and there are better. I guess what I’m trying to say is to see the person. Found a lot of them are part of a generation of deeply lonely men - and this becomes clear once they start talking to you about anything non-football. Then they go and piss on the floor in the smoking area. It’s so frustrating.
I guess this is why I can’t hate them. Because I wish they had something else outside of shouting at the opposite team. And I also wish they’d stop trying to find self esteem in fighting random wee guys outside my work. That would be nice. |
