| Comment | Jon Molyneux - Scottish Greens. Spoke to him earlier today when he was doing the rounds in Shawlands and he came across as a decent bloke who seemed genuinely concerned about the day to day issues that affect local folk, e.g. waste and transportation etc.
I’ve never voted Green before as I’ve always felt like what they were proposing was a wee bit too radical and not very practical. However, I’m starting to realise that although we can’t change things overnight we do need to start moving towards developing a more inclusive and sustainable society, and this is something that I don’t feel like any of the other parties are offering at the moment.
Anyway, it was nice to speak to a politician who was offering feasible and pragmatic solutions to difficult local issues instead of just blaming others for creating them in the first place and/or condemning the SNP. |
