| Comment | Absolutely, my partner has significant mobility issues after spinal surgery complications last year and requires a wheelchair. It’s been a whirlpool for him and me adjusting to needing care and the change in our lives. It’s what seems like wee things - like twats parking in front of dropped kerbs - that really impacts him (and me as I try to get wheelchair up a kerb) and make a big difference to his independence. On a side note the Glasgow Home care team have been totally amazing and genuinely kind! I’m on a huge waiting lister for carers suppprt but can’t fault the social care team |
