| Comment | We had this issue previously. Roofing job back in 2017. We got visibility of three quotes but they went for the most expensive.... Unfortunately I was still a bit daft when it came to Factors then (trusted them haha!).
You can challenge the selected contractor. See all the quotes that they've had. But all occupiers would need to agree regarding contractor. If you know you're neighbours well might be worth asking them to challenge also.
Spiers Gumley are awful. They basically told the whole close that my mother refused to pay, which was rubbish as there was an agreement in place, just not the 5k they wanted right away. So my mother didn't even want to leave the flat. |
