Haven't tried Clockwork but the others are sound suggestions.

Might be controversial since their management team have had some 'hiccups' but WEST is another one that I still need to get round to visit as I love their beers when I get them elsewhere.

Another controversial one will be Wetherspoons as they have a partnership with CAMRA so have a variety of real ales on tap if that's your thing - some actually interesting Wetherspoons in Glasgow, including the Crystal Palace which is a bit of a dive but has the oldest lift/elevator in the UK and the Counting House next to George Square which is a genuinely lovely building!
