Comment | While that's a good reason, it's not the kind of empirical, legalistic reason that these people will agree with. They will seriously say 'She should have parked closer' or 'maybe she shouldn't have gone out at all?'. If you say there were no warning signs, or the signs were covered in graffiti and unreadable, or they weren't lit, then it's all on them. Don't treat it like you're speaking to a human. Because you're not - you're dealing with a minimum-wage employee reading a list of instructions, and they're not allowed to use initiative or common sense. |
