| Comment | I worked on the Langside campaign, and we knew we were doing well, but couldn't have predicted doing THIS well.
We were fourth place last time, scraping in with <100 transfers to beat the Tories, so we had to assume we were going to be in a similar position or maybe going up to third. For reference, the only seat before today that we won on first preferences was Hillhead (a 3 seat ward, so even harder to win!)
I'm not too sure we'd have got two in Langside even if we had put them in, but I've not seen the transfers yet. In 2027 though, who knows? |
