I would say that some parts of Renfrewshire ‘tore the R away’ a lot heavier than other parts of Greater Glasgow. I can’t think of many specific examples at the moment as it’s usually when I’m in conversation with someone that I notice the differences. One I noticed most recently was someone from Paisley saying “ma breh’r” and their friend from Dennistoun then using the word “bruthur”.
