I agree. Looking at the met Office for next week most days could go either way but tomorrow looks reliably shite.

OP if you have a car I'd book to use the Carrick Spa at Cameron House. Outdoor ininity pool, saunas with glass walls so you can see the views and wildlife and the weather doesn't matter.

If no car I'd get a train to Balloch and get drunk in one of the local bars, wander up Balloch Park to see the loch if the rain goes off, then chips and more drinks.

Edit after re-reading your original post. The ferry rides are enjoyable regardless of weather but definitely better if dry and sunny.
