Yeah that's the same for me. The great thing about the city is that it's small but there's a lot to do, especially when you're a student. So it's pretty easy to travel around using the subway & busses. Plus, if you get bored you can hop on a train to basically anywhere in the country. For example - Edinburgh is exactly 1 hour away via train and very touristy, definitely worth a day trip or two. If you have a weekend free you could even head up North to the Highlands or down South to England at some point. Don't worry, your 3 months will fly by! I'm sure you'll have a great time.
