| Comment | Been happening for a long time. Partick becoming 'west end' was the point it started accelerating. Kinning Park being priced out to fuck now, new flats go for a grand a month there, others having yearly increases. Govan is being targeted for gentrification as well, and my hometown of Pollok got hit hard when Silverburn went up and they started knocking down the flats for new builds for nice people with German cars to park in their new driveways.
Also, fuck Scottish government and their 'regeneration' projects. It's not regen, it's gentrification. At least call it what it is. |
