| Comment | aye absolutley its not ALL bad, i feel shawlands is a very safe place, when i was there i never ONCE felt like i had to watch ma back no matter what time it was or what condition i was in lol but the creeping "this is a hipster place for hipster people" aye sorry but that can fuck right off.
i get what you mean. when i moved into a place in shawlands i lived opposite this wee studenty lassie, and she knocked ma door one night to ask if ma water was off (which it was) except she pronounced every word without closing her lips and her "R"'s lasted aboot 4 seconds.
people round about that time coined the phrase "shawlands is going to be the new west end", well here we are and shawlands IS id say the new west end! now whats the new shawlands? look to be dennistoun to me! |
