| Comment | I didnt get the impression they were assuming you didn't believe in sex trafficking in Scotland, but rather they wanted to be a little more informative for anyone whose opinion may have been skewed by that ranting madman on Facebook (not saying that's you btw).
The thing with a lot of conspiracy theories/theorists is that their basic idea *usually* has some grounds in reality but they've added fabrication after fabrication. Unfortunately that means when one thing from their conspiracy *does* come true I.e. foreign individuals being arrested for Sec Trafficking in the Southside, then their confirmation bias comes in to play and suddenly all the people who where just on the fringe of believing the conspiracy are now fully hooked on it because one part turned out to be true.
Again, I don't want that to come across as though you don't already know that or to be condescending! I'm just really typing my thoughts out as I read the other comment haha |
