| Comment | Same, recently flew the 6AM flight to Amsterdam. The problem is that if there are just 2 or 3 parties that don't have it together they can hold up one check in window for an hour by themselves. When I took it recently there was one family at the window when I got there, I waited in line for 40 minutes, checked in, and left and they were still at it. Must have had 20 or so bags, some overweight that needed reconfiguring, didn't have all their Covid paperwork or boarding passes together, wanted to move seats around, basically everything you can think of. On the AM Amsterdam flight there will always be a couple parties like this as the Amsterdam flight is usually how you connect to the bigger long haul flights. It is a very small percentage of people that cause the vast majority of the wait. |
