| Comment | I don't know if we need more councils, I tend to think part of the reason they are in such a state is that we have so many, especially when it means extracting funding from the government.
I think you can have different methods of democratic representation but ultimately councils need to be big enough and strong enough to make medium to long term decisions about their area and i don't think they are big enough to do that at the moment. |
