| Comment | Lots of people can’t use it. Young, old, overweight, underweight, sight impaired, those drinking alcohol, those carrying shopping, those with kids, those with dogs, those heading more than 15 min cycle, those living on outskirts.
Poor weather half the year. No lights or cycle lanes in most places.
I understand the thinking but without a staged transition it’s silly to think the average person in Glasgow can cycle from the Southside to town in a reasonable amount of time. Never mind without the infrastructure.
The future’s green but trains are part of that. |
