A lot of taxi drivers left the industry. Anyone aspiring to become a taxi driver needs to apply and pay £200+ for a licence, not to mention it takes 9 months to even get the licence approved in Glasgow. Hardly appealing to someone unemployed looking for work right now. Whole system needs looked at.
