| Comment | It's not obscene though, it's a fair and just salary for the work that they do and the reason they are able to get full value from their employers is because they are properly unionised.
There's always a thin, or not so thin veil of classism when people turn their noses up at the wages of train drivers. They are angry and annoyed that a workforce that is predominantly working class have been able to use their collective power for their own good. |
