| Comment | Forum Cafe in Kilmarnock (glad to see there’s a few other votes for it on here). The Dean Park in Killie is really nice - big car park and a walk along the river (which you can get down to and skim stones). They also have deer and farm animals. I don’t think the main castle is open yet, as it’s being refurbished, but apparently there’s a box with a head in it in the castle.
Take them to the Dick Institite and laugh at the sign on the way back. Nobody from Killie seems to find the name funny. |
