| Comment | Yeah, OP should get their money, no doubt, and if 60K is on the table than good on them. I had a quick look at the person I was responding to and it turns out they are in fact a student who hasn't graduated yet. Reality check incoming. I am in a position where I see recent STEM grads come and go constantly, they all WAY overestimate what their actual earning potential is. They think after .5 yoe they will be seriously considered for £60K+ a year which is not how the real world works. I do hate to spoil the surprise though. |
