I would be surprised if they're connected. We onky changed out the lead in kitchen and not in bathroom as we will not drink the bathroom water.
What may be the connection may just be the feed to the shower?

When Scottish water come be sure to ask your neighbours not to flush the toilet so you can get a correct reading. Lead will leach out slowly, if someone flushes you will get an artificially low reading. |
