| Comment | To get a decent seamstress that knows how to work with evening dresses etc then you will need at least a first fitting about that much out. Then they will book you in nearer the time to adjust what needs doing. Most will need a a few weeks to do the adjustments (bearing in mind you’re not the only client). Don’t scrimp by going to a normal place that does normal clothes, evening wear is made so differently and the materials are so delicate, but if you go to someone good you will feel like you’ve had a custom made dress by the end of it. |
