I used to be like that and felt I needed someone to be there.
What works for me is just having a clear plan for the gym and you'll get on great.
Just know what exercises you'll do and what areas of the body to work out.
I got some advice from friends and from YouTube.
I only started this year and I've been going 3 days per week (minus one week as I was ill) since the beginning of January.
