A few months ago I did some voluntary work and learnt about the services for recovering drug users at Parkhead Nazareth Church. The place has a really nice community feel to it and everyone drags each other through both the shit times and the good times.
I’m not sure where abouts in the city you are based but I think there are similar branches around Glasgow that I can help you look into this week. I have only have experience of this one so if you’re in a desperate situation I recommend looking into these guys, it’s a short bus ride from town, near the Forge.
Although it’s held in a ‘church’ I didn’t see any sort of religious propaganda so please don’t be put off by that.
