I’d say if you earn above 40k you are in price middle class territory. Two incomes in one house could reduce the individual amount needed.
Most folk (the mode) are on well below the average - so you could say 28k+ is seeping into middle class.
Two reasonable incomes, disposable income, a detached house, two roadworthy cars and ‘choosing’ to work part time are probably better indicators. |
