| Comment | In terms of raw salary you're looking at 50+ and even then the middle class moniker is about more than just salary. If I had 70k annual I'd still be a dirty prole from Pollok. Always will be.
Too many people hit 35k and buy brand names and an Audi and start thinking they are middle class when they're just neds with a mortgage.
Also my old work used to pay mid 20s 'lads' from London 70k to 100k for 3 days a week and they were just neds who could afford coke.
That said, I get a special tickle from a fallen middle class person who has to live the life of the people they used to turn their noses up. |
