Not everyone with successful careers and businesses aspire to be living in the West End, Bearsden or The Mearns.
Everybody has different goals and perceptions of success in life.
I know people *living* in Drumchapel who do 6 figures. For someone from a working class background, moving from a council house to a mortgaged property in the Drum is success and happiness for them. They are close to family, they reinvest their money into their business, their employees and life experiences for their family.
I know middle class people who wouldn’t be caught dead in Drumchapel and are more likely to spend obscene proportions of their salary maintaining their image and perceived social status. |
