It's the start of exam time so of course all the undergrads are piled into the library when they're not usually throughout the rest of the year. The new building won't be ready for another year, but it will have additional study spaces. In the meantime, take some headphones and go to a public library, plenty of spaces in there and many of them are open late a couple of evenings a week.
