| Comment | This was almost 15 years ago, but we looked at the Winter Gardens for our ceremony and/or reception. The council would not let you use them until they had closed for the day to the public, so the earliest we could have started everything was 6pm, which was too late for us.
Normal closing time for Kibble Palace is 6.30pm in the summer, and a bit earlier in the winter. Post Covid, the opening times are still a bit shorter than normal - closing time is currently 5pm at the Kibble Glasshouse. For venue hire, music has to be off by 10.30 and everyone out by 11pm, so worth thinking if this is enough time for everything you have planned before you do anything more. |
