There is an option on airbnb to look for longer-term rentals, and spareroom (if you filter by ‘whole property’) might have landlords more open to short term lets. Location-wise, your best bet for a cheaper place would be somewhere outside of Glasgow though, as rental demand in Glasgow is currently very high. Short term lets are always going to charge extra, because of empty periods and cleaning, so cheap and short term and in town, and a whole place rather than a room, is going to be hard. Particularly with the council cracking down on short term lets. |
