I would always eat at work, so I didn't have the fridge or the oven on, I didn't have a TV or anything, just my laptop. I also didn't use the water boiler because with no dishes to clean I never needed it. The only thing using electricity was the shower water heater, my laptop and phone and the lights. Oh I also only used the single electric heater like a couple of times in the year, since the flat kept heat (maybe my neighbours had heating on and that kept me warm? Not sure)

None of this was to do with being in difficult financial position or anything, I just didn't need anything that used much electricity.

So it averaged £7 per month. Maybe £10 sometimes. The one month I used the heating a couple times it was £30
