Risk and responsibility of a teacher, bus driver, social worker, social care workers, health workers is less than train driver based on salary?
Yes - that view that others aren’t earning enough can be made. However based on current situation and comparatives - they earn more than the jobs listed above. Wouldn’t it make sense those jobs get wage increases before a wage rise for train drivers then?
I totally agree that it isn’t fully addressing the issue - but how does an increase in pay for an already well paid job resolve the issue?
