The other thing to bear in mind as well is that this hasn't just appeared out of nowhere, as the tories would have you believe. Real terms wages have been falling since 2008 and in conjunction with that, the standard of living has been falling, primarily thanks to a Tory government who's only interest has been to cut money from the public purse. |
