(From a working class background) I would say that £30k/33k upwards is definitely middle class (obviously ignoring all the cultural stuff which is inherent). Totally shocked by all these people with mega high incomes feeling like they aren't on a decent salary (though the middle classes shocking me with their spending habits seems to be the story of my life!).
